Who we are and what we do?

We are a group of volunteers from all walks of life and we provide support to patients, ex-patients and their families at the North West Regional Spinal Injuries Centre at a time when it is most needed.

We assist with travel and accommodation costs for relatives, offer a befriending service, run a free weekly coffee bar for patients, visitors and staff at the Spinal Injuries Centre, hold monthly social events at the Centre including barbecues in the summer months, act as volunteer drivers, assist with the purchase of specialist equipment and promote and assist community integration. We manage a home for both long and short term residents and offer respite care.
