SUAG [Spinal Unit Action Group] is a UK based charitable organisation working for past and present patients of the North West Regional Spinal Injuries Centre based in Southport.
SUAG has number of varied roles within the North West spinal injuries community.
We raise much needed funds and provide a wide range of services, including a long and short term residency home for past and present patients of the North West Regional Spinal Injuries Unit.
SUAG is based in Southport, the popular and picturesque coastal resort in the North West of England.
Just outside Southport is the village of Birkdale, where the SUAG residential/holiday home is based.
Some of the services SUAG provide:
- Provide and maintain a long and short term residency home.
- Run various social events for residents.
- Fund accomodation for selected relatives.
- Fund travel expenses for selected relatives.
- Engage in general fundraising activities year round.
- Provide a free weekly coffee bar for patients and their visitors.
